Places to go in Jerome
JEROME GRAND HOTEL & ASYLUM RESTAURANT
Located on a high ridge in the Verde Valley, this reportedly haunted 1926 Spanish Mission-style hotel is set in a former hospital, and is a 7-minute walk from the main street of Arizona's biggest ghost town. Quaint, simple rooms include satellite TV, and some add additional space, balconies or sun porch access. There are also connecting rooms and 1- and 2-bedroom suites. Free perks include parking, Wi-Fi in the lobby and continental breakfast. There's a gift shop and an on-site restaurant with an extensive wine list.
WICKED CITY TAP & CORK
Wonderful Spot for a few drinks in Jerome!
Fantastic reason to visit Jerome! This bar is now called WICKED CITY TAP AND CORK. the owner/operator/bartender Nick was a fun and sassy host for our couple of hours in his tavern. Great selection of local brews, easy and excellent conversation, and a lot of historical discussion of this funky little town's past and current oddities. Visiting Jerome and this drinking spot should be on anyone's list of things to do in Arizona.
CADUCEUS CELLARS TASTING ROOM
You have to stop by this tasting room and enjoy the excellent wines. It is a very comfortable tasting room and the selection of wines is grand. Being a Tool fan, this was a must stop, along with Merkin Vineyards. Take some time to taste wine here and you won't be disappointed!!
